Project Description

A shared love of books, art and children inspired Ann James and Ann Haddon to establish Books Illustrated in 1988. Together they bring a unique view to the picture book industry – librarian, bookseller, gallery director, writer and illustrator. For over thirty years they have celebrated and promoted Australian picture books and their creators through launches, workshops, displays and exhibitions, literary events and programs throughout Australia and internationally.

Regrettably Books Illustrated is closing down this December 2022. The website has been reduced to only a splash page, advising people to visit their showroom by appointment or contact via email until then.

Ann Haddon & Ann James have been a dream client over these years, and it will be very sad to see their business go. We at Fontana Design wish them a bright future with their new projects.
